When John was a teenager, he was bitten by the woodworking bug building garage cabinets and patio furniture at this parents’ home in California. He has then spent over thirty years as a woodworking enthusiast, learning to design and construct furniture and cabinetry along the way. Professionally, he spent most of those years as a teacher, many of them as faculty as Central New Mexico Community College. When John retired from teaching in 2017, he wanted to design and work with his hands, sharing his skills and enthusiasm for customized home built-ins with others. So he decided to establish a business in his Albuquerque community that focuses on a personalized service approach to building and installing home organization and storage systems in clients’ homes. Impressed by the people and product lines of Organizers Direct, he signed on as a dealer and has not looked back.
